Higgin’s Block, moved from 6A opposite the Tavern Motel, this was part of the original Higgins Tavern visited by Thoreau. Owned in 1910 by William Higgins it is now the Orleans Cycle and the Baseball Shop. 2. Now Mahoney’s Restaurant, this building is the second oldest on Main St. It has served many businesses and the dental office of Dr. Besse. 3 & 4 were private homes, now the site of Watson’s block 2007. |
